Summary

<aside> ❓ Why I want to read this?

I have yet to find a Ryan Holiday/Stoicism book that didn’t hit the mark. The latest round of the virtue series has been phenomenal. I expect this will be the same.

<aside> 💡 Overall Thoughts

This one was a little different. The first 1/3 of the books is very similar to other holiday books. Really inspiring, really liked it. The rest of the book takes a turn towards more of a pedestal/sermon than he usually does. I’m not saying it wasn’t good, but it’s definitely a change in pacing and a more direct call to action than it seems his other books have. It got a little too heavy handed and redundant for me in some parts, but over all a great message and helped remind me to be a better person.
